The Commuter Resource Center caters
to the needs of our non-residential student base, the
commuter student, by providing a variety of services, including
Tivoli & Campus Information, the Campus ID Program,
Lost & Found,
RTD information and Off-Campus Housing Resources. Tivoli
and Campus Information is available at the Center as well
as parking maps.
RTD validation and expiration days/dates
Semester stickers are always available and valid two weeks
before classes start and expire two weeks into the new
semester, therefore; Spring 2011 stickers were available
on January 4, 2010 and will expire June
14, 2011. One of the main requirements to receive an RTD
sticker is for students to show us a detailed classes schedule
or a tuition bill (not a receipt). Things we look for on
a detailed class schedules are:
- Student's name/ID number
on the schedule
- The term (fall, spring, summer)
- Class
location (most online students are not eligible for RTD
stickers, so the location of the classes indicate to us
that a student is on campus, and therefore, they are charged
the RTD fee in their tuition).
RTD has an extensive presence
in the center providing bus and Light Rail routes, schedules,
ride boards and an on-line kiosk. RTD 10-ride booklets
are also available for sale.
Campus
ID Program at the Commuter Resource Center distributes Campus
Identification Cards or revalidates an existing ID. The Validation
Sticker serves as a free pass on RTD and Light Rail and also
allows access to the Physical Education and Recreation Events
Center facilities. You must bring the following with you
to get an ID or revalidation sticker:
- Proof of registration
or current registration such as a class schedule printout,
tuition bill or receipt showing breakdown of fees. Schedule
/bill must include your name and at least the last four digits
of your student ID number.
- A picture ID
- * $10 UC Denver
and Metro students. $15 CCD students. We accept cash, Visa,
Discover, MasterCard, and American Express. We also accept
department charge forms and prepaid vouchers (for first-time
UCD students only).

Campus ID Authorization/Charge Form

The
Off-Campus Housing Resources features an on-line database
of available housing in the Denver Metro area. The database,
accessible via our computers located
in the Commuter Resource Center, or from any location with
Internet access, allows you to search or post listings
of vacant properties, roommates needed, and roommates available.
The database can be accessed at http://ftlogan.ahec.edu/auroch/.
Lockers are available to rent on a semester basis.
Lockers are located both in the Tivoli Student Union and
the PE Building. |
