Student & Auxiliary Services (SAS) is a division of the
Auraria Higher Education Center. In an effort to enhance
and build a sense of community on the Auraria Campus, SAS
operations focus on |
the following goals and objectives:
To provide a wide and adaptable array of services by recognizing
and responding to changing campus demographics and tends.
To encourage the campus community to utilize the services
it provides at the Tivoli Student Union as well as its
services offered throughout the campus.
To strive to maximize revenue potential, while balancing
provision of services, by ensuring and monitoring that
consideration is given to Campus needs as a whole.

These goals are achieved through
a variety of means, including provision of programs, enhanced
marketing measures directed to the campus population, support
of Institutional Student Activities/Life Offices in the facilitation
of student functions, and exploration of supplemental services,
which are augmented by retail ventures, focused toward the
primary Campus market. In addition, SAS works with student
committees and responds to the needs of Campus customers
by continually evaluating service levels, hours of operation,
quality of the physical (and aesthetic) environment, and
ensuring the efficient utilization and training of staff.
